Hey! Hacker! Leave those lists alone!

FAAAN!

I give up!

For some weeks I've been trying to make this blog look like my homepage but it just wont work the way I want it to... Because of that i chose to let it look this way; standard template...

One more thing I've been thinking about is to start writing in swedish instead, as it is my native language I think that I would write a ot more if I did. So from now on all that is written in this blog will be in swedish!

There's been a while now since I last wrote here...

I guess I haven't thought that there was so much to say about everything that has happened. I've basically been going to school, doing some final tests before the summer, soon I'll be off to Greece for the second year in a row.

The reason why I'm writing now is that i got so much inspiration from ESC (European Song Contest). I was having a nice get-together with my mates, we where watching some movies and talking. We switched over to the contest and realized that, finally, there was a contestant worth the watch; Lordi! It really isn't my kind of heavy metal but the concept, it really shook the foundation of the whole competition, and when they won...
It was truly a glorious day!

One thing made the day even better; as we zapped over to one of the sports channels we saw Sweden beat Canada in the semi-final. By that we had our worst opponent out of the game and earned ourselves a place in the final. The score: 5 - 4 (when we met the US we won with 5 - 0).

Today we closed the deal when we defeated the Czech Republic in the final, making us the only nation in the world that has won both the Olympics and the World Championships in the same season!

Enough of the love of my country, I’m usually not that interested in sports It’s just the important competitions that gets to me… I’m actually more grateful that Finland got their first ESC title and more important: with a heavy metal song! This is one of the best weekends ever and I must remember it!

That’s why I’m writing today!

Up up and away

Today I've been sleeping half the day (I got one day off from school). Once I got up I sat down by the computer for a couple of hours.

I'm designing a computercase based on the idea from Antecs P180... It's actually coming together quite nice! I just need to model the motherboard which could be a problem as I dont know the exakt position of the backpanel... Anyway...

We have guests here; my mother's cousin and her husband. Hmm... What am I supposed to do now? I'm gonna check if there's anything more I can do with the case...

Oups... Axel's calling!

Yay, I almost forgot to write that I've picked up the guitar playing again! Today I've been playing both "Fade to Black" by Metallica and "Breaking the Law" by Judas Priest!

Quote from Fade to Black:
"Life it seems, will fade away, drifting further everyday"

...lingers at the borders of our minds...

Yesterday was nothing in particular, went to school and the home again. The only interesting thing that happened during the day was that I got the scores from my examination in french and I'm actually very satisfied!

Todays been a pretty good day! We had a test in English, speaking, and I think it went very well! The teacher put our group to a stop and told us that she didn't needed to hear more and that we will all get a very nice grade... :)

The rest of the day mostly involved ordinary lessons except from that I stayed a little while and watched my pals play music. They where pretty unorganised but it was fun!

Bruce Dickinson - Navigate the Seas of the Sun

Distant earthrise long ago
Lingers at the borders of our minds
Mysteries spinning in the dark
In the frozen emptiness of time
We were lost and we never knew
Who we were, what we left behind
Living half lives we were blind
To the new frontiers that opened up our eyes

To find our minds were spinning
Souls entwined in a spiral dance
The ancient ways have found us again
To give us one last chance

Living in this place,
Staring into space we find
We might share the corners of our lives
Infinity runs deep,
Eternity that we can't keep
Melting through the frozen wastes of time
